Lunch: sandwiches with cold cuts, sliced cheese, lettuce, and onion; chips, cookies, apples, avocado
Dinner: garlic bread, green salad, tri-tip steak, zucchini
Sunday
Easy Breakfast + Taco Salad Lunch
Breakfast: muffins, pastries, coffee
Lunch: taco salads before checkout
Use up bananas, melon, and snacks before checkout
Oregon adjustment: plan for 10 people, not the old 12-13 person list. This trip has campsite fire pits, but we should still use camp stoves / portable grills for real meals and check fire restrictions before relying on open-fire cooking.
Shopping List
Costco bulk run list for Elgin, Tex, Cody, Jason, David, and Squiggles. Checkmarks save on each person's phone only, so shoppers can use this as a live aisle list without changing the shared claim board.

Friday Store Run Order
Plan is Costco first, Walmart Supercenter second for anything Costco misses, then campground. Buttons open Google Maps from your current location.
Route estimate from Napa: about 6.5 hours to Costco Central Point, about 15 minutes from Costco to Walmart, then about 1 hour from Walmart to camp. Use the map links for live traffic.
Food reminder: do not keep food, trash, toiletries, or scented stuff in tents. Use locked cars or hard-sided containers unless the park confirms food lockers at our sites.
Our Campsites
Both sites are basic tent sites in Loop D with 12' x 12' tent pads and three-night reservations.

Highlighted Campground Map
D24 and D25 are circled on the official Jackson County campground layout so people can find our spot quickly.
The campground is off Oregon Route 62 near Lost Creek Lake, northeast of Medford and west of Crater Lake.
What The Campground And Lake Look Like
Lake views first, then campground/site setup, then the bathroom/shower situation. These are representative public photos, not guaranteed photos of D24 or D25.

Cooking Situation
Campground photos show picnic tables and upright grill/fire-ring setups at sites, so cooking is not limited to a ground campfire.
At The Sites
Picnic tablesSite photos show picnic tables at the campsites.
Grill / fire ringSite photos show upright grill/fire-ring style setups. Add 1 bag of charcoal briquettes to the Costco run for these, and still bring our own propane gear for real meals.
FirewoodAvailable at host sites A-6, B-3, C-51, and D-49 until 8:00 PM.
Cooking planUse the campsite grill/fire ring where it makes sense, plus Elgin's propane grill and Tex's cooking stove for controlled cooking.
Group Food Notes
RulesBurn wood only; no trash, plastic, or glass in the fire pits.
Food storageCounty rules say food should be stowed in secure containers.
BackupThe day-use area has picnic/lake access, and the resort lists a seasonal store and cafe nearby.
Practical call: use the picnic table and site grill/fire ring for easy campsite cooking, but keep the propane grill/stove plan because it is faster, cleaner, and less dependent on fire restrictions.
Bear Situation
Not Yosemite-level bear-locker camping from the official info I found, but still treat it like wildlife country and keep food locked down.
What The Park Says
Food ruleFood should be stowed in secure containers.
Main warningThe county brochure specifically warns that squirrels and crows will tear through food and garbage bags.
Bear boxesI did not find an official listing saying D24 or D25 include bear lockers or food boxes.
Plan For Us
DoStore coolers, dry food, trash, toiletries, and scented stuff in hard-sided bins or locked vehicles when not actively using them.
Do notKeep food, trash, toiletries, or snack bags in tents overnight.
Yosemite trauma noteAssume critters are opportunistic even if this is not posted as a bear-locker campground.
Bottom line: plan on car / hard-sided container storage, not provided bear boxes. If anyone wants certainty before packing, call Jackson County Parks at (541) 774-8183 and ask whether Loop D sites D24 and D25 currently have food lockers.
Friday Hike: Garfield Peak
Friday plan is Garfield Peak at Crater Lake. It is the classic rim hike with big lake views, then Saturday stays easy around Lost Creek Lake and camp.
Trail Details
TrailheadEast end of Rim Village, behind Crater Lake Lodge.
DistanceAbout 3.6 miles round trip.
ClimbAbout 1,010 feet of elevation gain.
Why do itCrater Lake views, Wizard Island, Phantom Ship, wildflowers, and a real summit feel without an all-day route.
Meetup pinUse Crater Lake Lodge / Rim Village as the driving destination, then walk the paved promenade behind the lodge to the Garfield Peak trailhead sign.
BringWater, snacks/lunch, sunscreen, hat, layers, and real shoes. The trail is exposed once it opens up.
Trail noteHigh-elevation Crater Lake trails can hold snow into summer, so check current conditions before we leave camp.
Simple version: drive to Rim Village, hike Garfield Peak, take the big-view photos, then head back toward camp.

Saturday: Lake / Campsite Hangout
Saturday plan is to swim and hang out at the Lost Creek Lake day-use / swim beach area, or keep it easy around the campsite if people want shade.
Saturday default
Swim Beach + Day Use Area
The official day-use area has a flat sandy swim beach, no lifeguards, an expansive green lawn, horseshoe pits, and volleyball courts.
Good hangout spot
Lake Lawn + Picnic Area
This looks like the best Saturday congregating setup: shade, picnic tables, grass, and direct lake access for swimming.
Optional add-on
Marina Rentals
The marina offers pontoon boats, aluminum fishing boats, kayaks, and paddleboards if people want more than beach time.
Saturday default: swim beach + day-use lawn. Official park info says family-friendly bike paths connect the campground to the day-use area, swim beach, resort, and amenities, so this should be the easiest lake plan from camp.
