Quiet hours are 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM. One camping unit is allowed per site. The reservation allows up to 8 people per campsite regardless of age.
Current headcount list, grouped by confirmed, not this year, and occasional attendees. Names are alphabetized within each group.
Private availability notes are kept off the public page.
Drafted for the 2026 Oregon trip with 10 confirmed people, scaled down from the bigger 2024-style list.
Oregon adjustment: plan for 10 people, not the old 12-13 person list. This trip has campsite fire pits, but we should still use camp stoves / portable grills for real meals and check fire restrictions before relying on open-fire cooking.
Costco bulk run list for Jason, David, and Squiggles. Checkmarks save on each person's phone only, so shoppers can use this as a live aisle list without changing the shared claim board.
Useful map links for the Costco bulk run, last-minute backup stores, and the campground destination.
3075 Hamrick Rd, Central Point, OR 97502. This is the closest Costco that makes sense on the way in from I-5.

11500 Hannon Rd, Eagle Point, OR 97524. Roughly 25 miles / 30-35 minutes from camp, depending on traffic.
3169 Crater Lake Hwy, Medford, OR 97504. Roughly 30 miles / 40 minutes from camp, so use it before heading up OR-62 if possible.

Personal packing reminders from the old list, plus a couple Oregon-specific food-storage reminders.
Food reminder: do not keep food, trash, toiletries, or scented stuff in tents. Use locked cars or hard-sided containers unless the park confirms food lockers at our sites.
Both sites are basic tent sites in Loop D with 12' x 12' tent pads and three-night reservations.
Full shade, basic site, 12' x 12' tent pad. Confirmation code is kept off the public page.
Partial shade, basic site, 12' x 12' tent pad. Confirmation code is kept off the public page.
D24 and D25 are circled on the official Jackson County campground layout so people can find our spot quickly.
The campground is off Oregon Route 62 near Lost Creek Lake, northeast of Medford and west of Crater Lake.
Photos are pulled from public campground image sources so everyone can get a quick feel for the area before the trip.
For planning purposes, this is a park with real campground conveniences plus day-use lake access close by.
The official campground info calls out fire pits and firewood, but I did not find an official built-in BBQ grill listing for sites D24 or D25.
Practical call: assume we need our own stove/grill for actual meals, use the campsite fire pits for campfire cooking only if fire rules allow it, and verify current fire restrictions before the trip.
Not Yosemite-level bear-locker camping from the official info I found, but still treat it like wildlife country and keep food locked down.
Bottom line: plan on car / hard-sided container storage, not provided bear boxes. If anyone wants certainty before packing, call Jackson County Parks at (541) 774-8183 and ask whether Loop D sites D24 and D25 currently have food lockers.
Nearby options if we want something easy without turning the day into a long drive.
Bike or drive from camp to the day-use area for a relaxed hangout, swimming, picnic time, and lake views.
Use the paved paths and trail system to connect camp, the lake, the resort area, and forested sections.
The county brochure lists boat, pontoon, kayak, and paddle-board rentals. Call ahead so the group is not guessing day-of.
Recommendation: for a close group activity, make the swim beach and marina/day-use area the default plan. It is nearby, flexible for kids and adults, and does not require coordinating a long outing. If people want more, add a short bike/trail loop before or after.
